The Canary Wharf Group Community Grant Programme
The Canary Wharf Group Community Grant Programme is now open for 2026. The programme aims to support local community initiatives that have the greatest impact for those who need it the most and this will include initiatives led by diverse, small and resident led groups. To support these groups in their applications, Canary Wharf Group are hosting an in-person session with our charity partners EECF, who are managing the Community Grant Programme.
The session will be held on Tuesday 17 February 2026 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Canary Wharf Groups’ offices at One Canada Square.
Space for the session is limited with up to 24 places available. This is aimed at small groups who need additional support and find it difficult to access our online grant webinars and submit applications via their online portal or who have specific access requirements.
Round one closes at noon on Monday 2 March at 12 noon (midday).
Cash for Kids
Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most across the UK.
Their grant rounds support children from birth up to and including 18 years of age who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or who have additional needs. They aim to provide a lifeline to many other charities, organisations and community groups, funding much-needed services and life-changing equipment.
All applications must be made via their online system at the links. Their Local Executive Boards aim to meet several times each year to discuss applications.
The most relevant fund for 4in10 is their 'Impact Grants- Group' and their London round opens on 9th February.
Chapman Charitable Trust
Chapman Charitable Trust focuses most new grants on charities which address the root causes of problems, under the three following headings:
- conserving our natural environment and promoting the sustainable use of resources
- increasing the accessibility of the arts, especially for young people
- promoting physical and mental wellbeing
Although they do make new small grants in other areas, for example, for care and counselling under their wellbeing heading, these are normally made to organisations which seek to address underlying problems and where we think our grant can make a real difference.
The deadline for next trustee meeting is 28th February.
Drapers’ Charitable Fund
Draper's Charitable Fund mostly funds projects in Greater London, with three priority areas: education and young people; social welfare; textiles and heritage.
Within education and young people, the Fund is keen to support work that: supports young people not in education, training or sustainable employment.
You can apply at any time of the year but the trustees meet next on 24 February 2026.
Lewin Trust
Lewin Trust's vision is to make a tangible difference to poverty and inequality through early intervention and to break cycles of dependence on relief.
They aim to achieve this by providing grant funding and support to UK-registered charities working within the UK or overseas in areas of need or deprivation.
Their focus is on providing support for projects where every child is being given the best start in life, enabling charities to help young children, carers and their families on their journey to independence.
The deadline for the next fund is 19th February.
Wise Music Foundation
Wise Music Foundation provides financial support for people experiencing hardship, distress and illness, with a focus on children, the homeless and people living in poverty.
